The 509T is no different! I read it comes with a RMR plate. But if you're going to be doing some serious larping and smashing your optic on tables and doing high speed one handed manipulations go with the RMR since its already made a name for itself and has a proven track record. I have followed the way the original adapter was made with addition of steps front and back for added rigidity. Couldn't find anyone who would mill a slide, thus decided to make my own 509t adapter out of EGW one. I don't know about holosun warranty but I know if you somehow break a trijicon they'll just send you a new one. I had an armorer put the 509T on my VP9. Glad to see Holosun got this optic where it needed to be. And it has features that set it apart from the Trijicon. Hi, Has anyone tried the 509T in Open yet? He used the H&K specific plate that was recommended for that optic and played over it the plate from Holosun to mount the optic on. The 1632 battery will be a massive improvement over the ACRO's 1225, somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 mAh vs 48 mAh before solar even comes into play. The Holosun 507C is an RMR red-dot sight with a very similar footprint to the popular Trijicon RMR. The company unveiled several new products like the HM3X magnifier, the closed reflex rifle sight HS512C and the new gold reticle colour that has been all the rage among a number of like-thinking brands at this year’s exhibit. I'd recommend checking out videos from Sage Dynamics. RMR is considered the best of the best, the most proven. What mount would fit? The edges on the RMR body are softer (good for smashing into my belly) At max brightness, the RMR is much brighter, but also blooms quite a bit more. It wouldn’t be controversial to say the Trijicon RMR is arguably the most popular pistol-mounted red-dot sight in the world. The RMR was my first choice, but with one of the only in-stock vendors being at $475 for the 3.25 MOA optic, and then the 2 MOA Holosun with better reviews and a solar panel being up for $240… I bought the Holosun, two extra mags, and some CR123s for my Streamlight. I'm picking up a 509T once they're in stock. For a given (perceived) brightness match, the RMR cc dot is a little sharper to my eyes (and I have slight astigmatism in my dominant eye) (2MOA for Holosun vs 3.5MOA on RMR cc). Cheers Holosun has continued to impress me with every new RDS they release. Share to Download User Manual Manual The Holosun is really nice though and they've stepped their game up. The buttons have a solid tactile click when pressed, the sight is window is great glass & well out together, the battery door easily accessible is super handy, and the fact that you can change from a pic rail to provided adapter for RMR cut slides is the icing on top! 509 Adapter for RMR. 509 Adapter for RMR. WHAT IS THE HOLOSUN 507C? 509t sits tightly in between these. Few hours with a file and here is the result. Im new to the group and have issues that I hope the group can help with (gun related lol). An alternative to the Aimpoint Acro. Having already broken an ACRO just after 4,000 rounds I am interested to try out the 509T. MSRP $ 47.05. Holosun had themselves quite a busy four-day showing at SHOT Show 2019.
